Lake View city officials have approved site plans for one of Sac County’s largest employers at their council meeting on Monday. Within the last year, Evapco Inc. has already expanded their campus in Lake View, building a second facility, estimated at approximately $12 million. Evapco approached the council asking to approve site plans for another expansion at Monday’s meeting, this time for a smaller project. The project is a 50-by-300-foot storage facility for their natural products and more. City Administrator Scott Peterson says Evapco’s continued expansion is tremendous for the city because it is the largest employer in town and one of the largest in the county. The project is expected to start next week and wrap up around July 4th.
