Brent Douglas Alexander, age 46, of D’lberville, MS, passed away March 21, 2023 at his home in D’lberville.
A private funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Burial will be at the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery in Glidden.
Brent was born on November 17, 1976 in Slidell, Louisiana and is the son of Gay Moore and Melvin Alexander. He attended Slidell High School and Tulane University. He worked at the French Quarter Restaurants in New Orleans, LA, Hotel Resorts in Vail, CO, and retail in Colorado, Texas, and Mississippi. Brent attended the Parkway Baptist Church Biloxi. Brent enjoyed collecting state flags and maps.
Brent is survived by his mother Gay Moore and father Melvin Alexander; step-siblings Wanda Capinger, Nola Jones, Jamie Moore, Yvonne Thomas, and Yvette Moore; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step-father James Moore; aunts Shirley Herrington Cawthon, Lois Rider Ainsworth, Joy Hanke Forshee, and cousin Josh Hanke.
