Iowa 4th District Representative Randy Feenstra invites constituents to join him in Ida Grove at the beginning of next week to discuss the ongoing negotiations for the 2023 Farm Bill, his Agricultural Advisory Board, and his work to prevent foreign ownership of U.S. farmland. The town hall is scheduled for Monday, April 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Ida Grove Community Rec Center, located at 311 Barnes St. The Farm Bill, which covers everything from income support for farmers and rural development to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and federally subsidized crop insurance, was last approved in 2018 and is up for renewal this year. Monday’s town hall is open to the public, and 4th District constituents are encouraged to attend.
