A Lake View man has been sentenced to prison in Sac County District Court on felony child sexual abuse charges. According to Sac County District Court records, 47-year-old William Gerard Biller, Jr. pled guilty Monday to third-degree sexual abuse and lascivious acts with a child, both class C felonies. Biller was arrested by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office on March 11 after an investigation found he had molested a 13-year-old female victim in February 2017 at his home in Lake View. Biller was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison on each count. He was initially charged with seven felony abuse charges, but the courts dismissed the remaining five counts following his sentencing. In addition to the 20-year prison sentence, which is the maximum allowed under Iowa law, Biller will be required to register with the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for the remainder of his life.
