The IKM-Manning Community School District has announced the hire of a new high school principal, Nolan Shanks. Shanks will replace longtime 4-12 Principal Brian Wall, who is retiring at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. Shanks currently serves as the district’s instruction integrationist and brings with him to the position in-depth experience with IKM-Manning’s students, staff, and communities. He says, “Our communities have a staff dedicated to the growth and achievement of all students, and for this reason, it is an honor to be selected as the next 4-12 principal at IKM-Manning. Together, we can and will achieve great things for our students.” Shanks officially takes over in his new position on Aug. 1, prior to the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
