The Carroll Public Works Department started its annual hydrant flushing procedures this (Monday) morning. Crews began operating in the community’s north-central district and will proceed throughout the community over the next several weeks to clear rust and other mineral deposits from the city’s water mains. Customers are advised they may experience rust-colored water while this work is underway. Residents who experience discolored water are asked to contact the Carroll Public Works Department by calling 712-792-1000 so crews can correct the issue.
