The summer break is right around the corner, meaning the Carroll Public Library’s summer reading programs are fast approaching for youth and young adults in the community. Library Director Wendy Johnson is set to start her first summer overseeing all programs. She says the staff at the library have been working on the activity schedule events since September.

Johnson says only some of the programs will be centered around reading. Others will be more entertainment based, as different individuals will perform various acts on Tuesdays during the summer.
