Spring thunderstorms pushed through the region last night (Wednesday), bringing reports of damaging hail in Crawford County and into Sac County. The line of storms ran through Charter Oak, Schleswig, Kiron, and into Odebolt, dropping hail as large as 2.75 inches or around the size of a baseball. There are many reports of damaged vehicles, windows, and homes as a result. The region also had several tornado warnings Wednesday evening, and several witnesses reported a tornado south of Kiron around 8 p.m. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as of yet from Wednesday night’s severe weather.
