Former Vice President Mike Pence and GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will be the featured speakers tomorrow (Saturday) at the Iowa Federation of Republican Women’s (IowaFRW) spring conference in Jefferson. Doors open to the public at 11:30 a.m. at the Wild Rose Casino and Hotel, and the luncheon and slate of speakers begin at 11:45 a.m. Ramaswamy, an Ohio businessman and author of “Woke, Inc.” and “Nation of Victims,” is scheduled to lead off the slate of speakers. Iowa Senate President Amy Sinclair of Allerton and Senator Jesse Green of Harcourt will follow. Pence is the event’s keynote speaker and will take the stage around 2 p.m. The Carroll County Republican Women will also be hosting a silent auction during Saturday’s conference, with money raised going to support local veteran programs.
