The Carroll Public Library is hosting a free event featuring Iowa Poet Debra Marquart as part of its National Library Week Celebration. The event is tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Carroll Public Library starting at 5:00 p.m. The program is funded by Humanities Iowa, a non-profit organization that brings speakers into communities to teach the public about the history of Iowa through art, culture, and literature. Marquart will share some of her poems and writing with those in attendance. The program is free and open to the public.
