Carroll residents are invited to participate in a 5K run/walk this weekend that helps raise money for mental health services in the community. St. Anthony Regional Hospital’s Mental Health Matters 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, April 29, at Graham Park in Carroll. According to Chaplain Angelo Luis, registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with the run starting at 9:00 a.m. Luis says the 5K was created to help raise funds for those who suffer from mental health issues in the surrounding area.
Luis says if individuals want to refrain from participating in the event, there will be silent auction items up for bid at the park.
Money raised during the event will support r mental health services at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. Luis says individuals can sign up on the day of the 5K for $20 per person or pre-register at www.stanthonyhospital.org. Those who register before the event will receive a t-shirt.
