The Carroll Community School District Board of Education will have a relatively short work session on Monday. Only two items are on the agenda: a personnel report and then school officials will enter a closed session. The closed session is under Iowa code 21.5.1.i. “to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation.” The closed session has to do with a superintendent evaluation, and such evaluations are conducted regularly by the school board. The work session begins at 5:30 p.m. at Adams Elementary in the board meeting room. A link to the full agenda can be found included with this story on our website.
