The Carroll Public Library is hosting an event later this week designed to teach children about different cultures worldwide. The event is called CultureALL on Tuesday, May 2nd, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the library. This interactive workshop introduces participants to Japan’s geography, fashion, housing, cuisine, and more. CultureALL Ambassador Miki Takayama will demonstrate Japanese traditions through different picture displays. Participants will be able to try out traditional wooden toys and games and learn the art of origami. Those interested in attending do need to register, as the program is limited to 25 individuals.
