RAGBRAI is still two months away, but organizers in Lake View are working hard to have a full day of events planned when riders pass through the community. The Lake View RAGBRAI Committee has announced the theme for the event is “Take a Brake at The Lake.” According to co-chair Dave Woltman, committees are working hard to find entertainment for when thousands of riders make their way to Lake View.
Woltman says for those interested in volunteering, there are still plenty of opportunities available.
Woltman adds that over 25 vendors have already signed up to participate in the event, and they are looking to cap the number at 35. Individuals interested in volunteering or being a vendor and use the contact points included with this story online. Riders will pass through Lake View on Monday, July 24, as they make their way to Carroll for an overnight stop.
