The Sac County Engineers Office is closing a mile-long stretch of road northeast of Sac City tomorrow (Wednesday) for planned construction work. Union Avenue between 190th and 200th Street will be closed for approximately two weeks starting Wednesday for patching work on the roadway. A posted detour will be in place to route thru-traffic around the work area using D15 to M45, then to U.S. Highway 20. The road will remain open to local traffic only. The Sac County Secondary Roads Department e reminds motorists to be cautious when driving in or near any construction project.
