The annual Lytton Gala starts this weekend with an abundance of events for individuals of all ages to enjoy. The gala begins on Friday, May 26, at 5:00 p.m. and will run through Memorial Day weekend. Friday night’s events included the FFA supper at the American Legion Hall starting at 5:30 and ending at 8:00 p.m., a kiddie parade starting at 7:00 p.m. on the north end of Main Street, the Tank Anthony Band from 8:00 a.m. until midnight at the beer garden, and more. Saturday festivities start with an omelet breakfast at the Legion Hall at 7:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m. starts, the 5K run walk. Registration begins an hour before the event at 7:00 a.m. by the post office. Other events taking place on Saturday include a car show, bags tournament, bingo, and a performance from Trevor Hill. Sunday’s events begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Gala Days Softball tournament and will be rounded out with an outdoor church service at 10:30 a.m. Monday is the last day of the Gala Days and starts at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Day service and the annual grass volleyball tournament.
