The Carroll County Leadership Institute (CCLI) held its 2023 graduation ceremony earlier this month at Santa Maria Winery and Vineyard. The event marked the culmination of eight sessions held from September through April, where participants were exposed to various issues through panels, lectures, on-site visits, and group discussions. The graduation ceremony featured Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Carroll County Growth Partnership Executive Director, Kimberly Tiefenthaler, as the keynote speaker. She emphasized the importance of leadership in all aspects of life, including home, work, school, church, and the community. She encouraged the graduates to embrace different leadership styles and to be willing to step up and say “yes” when asked to lead or volunteer. This year marked the 23rd CCLI class, bringing the total number of graduates to 474.
