Tomorrow (Thursday) marks the opening night for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s third season of Live + Local concerts in the community’s downtown. Live + Local was launched in 2021 as pandemic-era restrictions were lifted, and Business Development Director Rosanne Nees says it has grown into one of Carroll’s most popular summertime activities.
The live concert begins at 6 p.m. on Adams Street south of U.S. Highway 30, and 2 ½ Guitars will play until 9 p.m. The four other shows, scheduled for June 29, July 20, Aug. 17, and Sept. 14, are all offered with free admission thanks to generous sponsorships from local businesses. However, Nees says they do ask attendees to follow a few simple rules.
Nees adds Live + Local crowds have grown year after year, and organizers do not expect 2023 to be any exception.
Motorists are reminded Adams Street downtown will be closed earlier in the day for venue preparations. The full 2023 Live + Local schedule is included below.
