Carroll city officials are reminding residents of tonight’s (Thursday) city-wide mosquito spraying. Weather permitting, crews will conduct the season’s first treatment beginning in the early evening, starting from a location determined by the wind direction. The chemicals used during this process are generally considered safe for human exposure in moderate amounts, but residents at increased respiratory risk, such as the very young, elderly, or asthmatics, may notice short-term effects such as slight difficulty breathing. Please take necessary precautions, such as staying indoors or covering up if you have sensitivities to spray.
