Carroll Country Store and St. Anthony Regional Hospital have partnered in a new effort to raise money for the St. Anthony Foundation, unveiling a pride pump at their station on U.S. Highway 71. The collaboration kicked off with a generous start-up check of $1,000 presented by Steve Kimmes, President of Kimmes Enterprises LLC, to the St. Anthony Foundation. This initiative will donate two cents from every gallon purchased at the Pride Pump to the St. Anthony Foundation, benefiting the hospital’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare services. Kimmes says, “Country Stores of Iowa is very grateful to partner with St. Anthony Foundation. Country Stores Pride Pump Program allows us the opportunity to give back to our communities. Since its inception in 2018, Pride Pump Programs at Country Stores has donated over $100,000.00 to local schools and charities.” St. Anthony President and CEO, Allen Anderson, says, “We are incredibly grateful for the support and partnership of Carroll Country Store-Shell in launching the pride pump initiative. This collaboration not only showcases our shared commitment to the community but also provides an innovative way for community members to actively participate in supporting our hospital’s mission. We look forward to the positive impact this pride pump will have on our ability to continue delivering exceptional healthcare services to those in need” To support the new initiative, Country Stores of Iowa is doubling the contribution from each gallon of fuel to four cents for the first 100 days to encourage community participation.
