Organizers of the 3rd annual Carroll SuperDraft slow-pitch softball tournament announced last night (Wednesday) their 2023 event raised over $17,000 for local cancer patients. The SuperDraft was hosted just over a month ago at the community softball fields and featured dozens of players, a live auction, a touch-a-truck event, and more. The tournament is run by several local couples, including Katie and Tad Decker, Katie and Kyle Cornelius, and Nicole and Colby McCarville. The SuperDraft raised over $10,000 in its first year and more than $20,000 in its second year. To date, the event has raised nearly $50,000, which is used to support patients receiving treatment at the St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center and their families. Organizers have already indicated the plan to bring the Carroll SuperDraft back for a fourth year in 2024.
