The 25th annual St. Anthony Golf Classic, held at the Carroll Country Club on June 26 raised a record-breaking $90,413 for St. Anthony Regional Hospital (SARH) and the associated St. Anthony Clinic. These funds will be used to make modifications in the St. Anthony Clinic, providing patients with improved access to walk-in medical services. These changes were identified as a priority based on input received from the public during a recent community health needs assessment. Allen Anderson, president and CEO of St. Anthony, says, “Having witnessed the St. Anthony Golf Classic come to fruition following the tireless efforts of our committee members, fills me with gratitude. This remarkable event unites individuals from our community as well as individuals and business partners from across the United States. This event shows their commitment to generating funds for crucial renovations at our St. Anthony Clinic. It serves as a testament to the collective spirit of our golfers, ensuring that high-quality healthcare remains readily available within our local community here at St. Anthony.” The event featured various activities in addition to golf. Participants enjoyed a welcome tent with complimentary morning beverages and a wide selection of silent auction items. There were hole prizes, a 50/50 putting contest, a last-place prize, and a prize for the most balls lost, to name only a few. St. Anthony staff expressed gratitude to the volunteers, committee members, and prize and gift sponsors for their contributions to the event’s tremendous success.
