Carroll city officials are reminding residents of the next planned community-wide mosquito spraying, which is scheduled for later this week. Beginning around 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, trucks will be traveling throughout town dispensing aerosolized pesticides to control local mosquito populations. The starting position and planned route will vary depending on weather conditions that evening. The chemicals used are generally considered safe for humans in low concentrations, but they can lead to minor irritation or breathing difficulties for at-risk individuals.
