The Sac County Sheriff’s Office reports a Lytton man has been charged with multiple felony counts for alleged sexual abuse of a minor. According to Sac County District Court records, 38-year-old Antonio Deon Pharms faces three counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony, and three counts of lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony. The Sac County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation into Pharms on June 30 when the parent of the 13-year-old victim notified them of messages in violation of a no-contact order from an unrelated case. The female victim was later interviewed by staff from the Waterloo Child Advocacy Center. Authorities learned Pharms had alleged had sexual contact with the victim on at least three occasions in the previous two months. The charges carry a combined maximum sentence of up to 105 years in prison if Pharms is convicted. Pharms remains in custody at the Sac County jail on a $105,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 26.
