Carroll County Supervisors To Consider Voluntary Annexation And Handbook Changes At Monday’s Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has a mostly routine meeting on the schedule for Monday morning. The board convenes at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse. The agenda includes general business, such as reviewing and approving payables, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Substance Abuse annual report, and building permits. The supervisors will also consider beginning-of-year requests for the military homestead and disabled veteran’s homestead tax credit applications. Other items on Monday’s agenda include authorizing the board chair to sign a voluntary annexation agreement with the City of Carroll. The meeting concludes with a discussion with County Attorney John Werden concerning proposed changes to the county’s employee handbook.
