The United Way of Carroll County has your lunch plans covered for Wednesday with the return of the group’s annual community grill out. The $9 meal of a hamburger, chips, cookie, and a drink is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, according to United Way Board Member Tom Haukap.
Haukap says the grill out is moving to a new venue for the 2023 program.
The annual grill out is the United Way’s primary fundraising event for the year, and Haukap says all the money raised is spent on local programs and initiatives.
Drive-thru meals will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Carroll’s First United Methodist Church on Main Street. Alternatively, orders of six or more can be delivered if submitted by the end of the day today (Monday). A link to the delivery order form is included below.
