Authorities say a Glidden man was injured following a two-vehicle crash in northwest Iowa earlier this week. A report from the Iowa State Patrol shows the collision occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Monday in O’Brien County, about seven miles southeast of Sheldon. Eighteen-year-old Noah Feilmeier of Glidden was traveling westbound in a 1992 Chevrolet C1500 on 390th Street and pulled out from a stop sign onto Nettle Avenue into the path of a northbound 2004 GMC Envoy, operated by 53-year-old Matthew Simons of Marcus. The Envoy collided with the rear of the Feilmeier truck and rolled into the east ditch. Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were transported by O’Brien County Emergency Medical Services to the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center for treatment. The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.
