In a show of community support, the Carroll Rotary Club’s annual tradition of giving continues with a $500 donation to St. Anthony Hospice. Bob Fasbender and Chris Van Dyke from the Rotary recently presented the year’s contribution to hospital staff, maintaining a tradition they upheld for years while hosting the annual hospice slow-pitch tournament. While circumstances prevented the partnership for this year’s tournament, which is scheduled for Sunday at the Carroll slow-pitch softball fields, the Rotary still opted to donate.
