Carroll city officials announced around noon today (Friday) that the railroad crossing on Main Street will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time. All other crossings are expected to remain open while work on the Main Street crossing is underway. Authorities ask motorists to use alternative routes until Main Street reopens.
