Subject Of April ATF Investigation Arrested Thursday In Carroll

A Carroll man wanted on outstanding Illinois warrants was arrested yesterday (Thursday) by local law enforcement. According to the Carroll Police Department, 26-year-old Geovanni Flood of Carroll, formerly of Bourbonnais, Ill., was taken into custody following a traffic stop at the intersection of 18th and Main Streets. Flood was booked into the Carroll County jail on charges of interference with official acts and allowing an unauthorized person to drive. He is also being held on outstanding warrants out of Illinois for felony weapons charges. Flood was the subject of an April 6 search warrant executed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) at his residence in the Fairview Apartments in the 600 block of E. 18th Street in Carroll as part of an investigation into multiple violations of federal firearm laws.
