Greene-County-Sheriffs-Patch

A Madrid woman faces felony charges for allegedly stabbing a woman multiple times with scissors Sunday evening. According to district court records, 19-year-old Isabell Rose Clark was booked into the Greene County jail early Monday morning for willful injury causing serious injury, a class C felony, and assault causing serious injury and going armed with intent, both class D felonies. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported fight in the 600 block of 15th Street in Grand Junction at approximately 11:59 p.m. Authorities say the conflict originated from earlier in the evening when Clark and a friend repeatedly drove by the victim’s residence on Main Street honking their horns. The incident escalated when the victim left her home to confront the pair. Clark allegedly left the residence armed with a pair of scissors and started attacking the victim, who sustained at least nine lacerations to her back and one to the left side of her head. As of Tuesday morning, Clark remains in custody on a $20,000 surety bond. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Grand Junction Rescue and Greene County Emergency Medical Services also assisted at the scene.
