Authorities have requested an arrest warrant for a Minnesota man who fled from law enforcement Sunday afternoon. At approximately 2:45 p.m., officers with the Carroll Police Department were investigating a suspected violation of an existing no-contact order in the 700 block of E. 18th Street when the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Kashawn Washington, fled on foot. Law enforcement pursued, but Washington managed to temporarily evade capture. The requested warrant includes two charges, violation of a no-contact order and interference with official acts, both simple misdemeanors.
