Auburn City Officials Issue Boil Advisory Following Water Tower Work

boil-advisory-image

City officials in Auburn announced today (Tuesday) a boil order for customers on the community’s water supply. Any water used for consumption, such as cooking, brushing teeth, or making ice, should be boiled for at least one minute before use. Alternatively, customers can use bottled water. The order is a result of scheduled maintenance on the water tower today (Tuesday), which could lead to potential bacterial contamination. Water used for bathing or laundry remains safe to use. For more information, contact Auburn City Hall at 830-7226. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more information once the advisory has been lifted.
