Boil Advisory Lifted For City Of Auburn

Auburn City Hall announced this (Friday) morning the boil advisory issued for customers on the community’s water system has been lifted. The order was initially implemented on Tuesday following scheduled maintenance to the city water tower. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) regulations require a boil advisory when the pressure in the system dips below 20 psi, which occurred during the scheduled work. The city has since received two tests confirming no sign of contamination in the system. Auburn residents can resume using water from the municipal supply as normal. City officials thank residents for their patience for the order’s duration. For more information, contact Auburn City Hall at 712-688-2264.
