Downtown Glidden will host their second annual Fall Fest Saturday September 30. Live music starts at 3. There will be an apple pie eating contest, bingo, a fall themed photo shoot, and this year, kids can play “Gaga” ball. Glidden City Administrator Brooke Peterson explained how the game is played.
Gaga ball will become a permanent feature at Glidden City Park after the event. Peterson says they are upping the ante in 2023.
If you buy a pumpkin pie or any baked good from the Women’s Auxiliary, proceeds go to help the Glidden American Legion Post 386. Vendors are still needed and there is no registration fee. For more information, call City Hall at 659-3010.
