Carroll County Supervisors To Review Fifth Courthouse Change Order At Monday’s Meeting

Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors agenda features change orders to the courthouse remodel project, survey reviews, and budget amendment public hearings. The board convenes at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room. They’ll open the meeting with a presentation from an Iowa Municipalities Workers’ Compensation (IMWCA) representative regarding the county’s coverage. This will be followed by a discussion on a recently completed retracement survey at the county annex, known as the Fricke Building at 608 N. Court St. At 9:30 a.m. The supervisors are to open a public hearing for a routine public hearing for a proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget amendment. They will also consider another change order for the courthouse renovation, this being the fifth since the project began. They’ll close Monday’s meeting with the semi-annual report from the County Treasurer’s Office, manure management annual updates, and committee reports.
