Four concrete memorial tables will be installed in the Lake City town square in late November to honor area loved ones. City Administrator Jacob Matthews said commemoration of our loved ones is a fitting and permanent legacy.
An individual donation of $2,000 covered the cost of a table, a bronze plaque and maintenance. Stacy Corey is a local resident memorializing her family’s legacy in concrete. Her plaque will read “in loving memory of mom and dad” followed by their names. The tables are made by Petersen Manufacturing in Denison. A picture of how one looks is available on the KCIM website.
