Marching music will fill the streets of Carroll tomorrow (Saturday) morning with the 66th annual Carroll Band Day. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., around a dozen bands and over 70 parade entries will follow the 10-block parade route through town leading up to the on-field competition at the Carroll Athletic Field. The parade route starts at the Adams and 12th Street intersection, northwest of the Adams Elementary School. The parade moves east on 12th Street to Clark Street, south to 9th Street, east through Graham Park, and across Grant Road to the stadium. Residents are invited to bring their chairs and blankets to line the streets along the route. The National Weather Service forecasts suggest excellent weather for Saturday. As a reminder, motorists should avoid parking along the path until the parade has passed.
