Kimberly A. Blades, 62 of Glidden Iowa passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday September 23, 2023.

Kimberly Ann Blades was born on December 23, 1960 in Des Moines Iowa the daughter of Kenneth and Anna “Jeannette” (Clark) Blades.
In her free time Kim enjoyed playing dice and cards. Kim collected bears and had plenty of them. Kim also loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Kim was a very kind and friendly person and made friends everywhere she went. Kim was very loved and will be missed by all.
Kim is survived by a son Joseph (Kayla) Blades of Glidden, IA; two daughters Jeannette Hernandez of Fort Dodge, IA, and Dannette (Lucas) Amodeo of Dedham, IA; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Sharon Henderson of Des Moines, IA, and Nitaya Blades of Lake City, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Jeannette Blades; three brothers: Steve, Ronnie and Wayne Blades; and her grandson Joseph Landon Blades.
