A Humboldt man is being held without bond in the Greene County jail following his arrest yesterday (Monday) on multiple felony charges, including child sexual abuse. Forty-one-year-old Jose Otoniel Regaldo Dubon was taken into custody in the 200 block of S. Chestnut Street at approximately 10:44 a.m. on charges of first-degree burglary, a class B felony, third-degree sexual abuse and lascivious acts with a child, class C felonies, and first-degree harassment and indecent contact with a child, both aggravated misdemeanors. Authorities say the charges stem from an investigation launched by the Jefferson Police Department on Sept. 24 but declined to provide any additional details regarding the case. The charges carry a combined maximum sentence of up to 49 years in prison and $33,500 in fines if Dubon is convicted.
