The second Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) Forum is scheduled for this (Wednesday) evening. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Carroll High School (CHS) auditorium, the five candidates who have filed to run for the four open seats on the Carroll City Council will answer questions from the CCGP Legislative Committee or those submitted by the public in advance to chamber@carrolliowa.com. The Carroll City Council candidates include Jerry Fleshner for Mayor, LaVern Dirkx for At-Large, Jason Atherton in Ward 2, and Justin McCool and Carolyn Siemann, who is the incumbent, for Ward 4. Wednesday’s forum is open to the public and will also be live-streamed via the KCIM YouTube page. Election Day for the city and school elections is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
