Lytton Man Sentenced To 40 Years On Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Antonio-Deon-Pharms

A Lytton man has been sentenced to up to 40 years in prison following his conviction in Sac County District Court on child sexual abuse charges. Thirty-eight-year-old Antonio Deon Pharms was arrested on July 15 following a Sac County Sheriff’s Office investigation into sexual misconduct with a juvenile female victim between April 14 and June 29. Authorities say the victim was under the age of 14 when the crimes occurred. Pharms initially faced eight felony counts: four counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony, and four counts of lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony. As part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, Pharms submitted guilty pleas to all four class C felonies and was sentenced Monday to up to 10 years on each count, to be served consecutively. The remaining charges were dismissed following his sentencing.
