The Carroll American Legion, in conjunction with the Carroll Hy-Vee, invites veterans from the area to join them tomorrow (Friday) morning for a free Veterans Day breakfast as a thank-you for their service. The annual breakfast is usually hosted in the Legion Building on Heires Avenue on Veteran’s Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11, but an unexpected scheduling issue forced organizers to move the event up a day to Friday, Nov. 10. Despite the date change, Legion Member RT Schreck says military servicemen and women can still expect a quality meal provided by the staff at Hy-Vee.

Again, the Carroll American Legion and Hy-Vee annual Veterans Day complimentary breakfast is tomorrow (Friday) from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Legion Building on Heires Avenue in Carroll.
