Grab your spoons and head over to the Piranha Club tomorrow (Friday) night for the United Way of Carroll’s 2023 Chili Contest and Silent Auction. Mallory Patterson, a United Way board member, says this is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and they have a fun night planned for those who attend.
She adds their silent auction selection has something for everyone, from a remote start kit and installation to an Iowa State Cyclones fan package. Patterson says it is an excellent opportunity to find that special something for family or friends on your Christmas shopping list while helping a great cause at the same time.
The United Way of Carroll is one of the more active non-profit groups within the county, and Patterson says their support is spread throughout the area.
For the past several years, the United Way of Carroll has provided well over $30,000 per year to area groups and organizations. Join the United Way Friday night at the Piranha Club in Carroll to support their efforts. Again, the silent auction runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more about the United Way of Carroll via their social media page, a link to which is included with this story online.
