The first annual St. Anthony Gala was hosted this past weekend and raised a remarkable $270,000 for the hospital’s emergency department. The program, hosted on Saturday evening at the Carrollton Hotel and Event Centre, brought together hospital staff, community leaders, residents, and many others for dinner, live and silent auctions, live music, and more. Proceeds from the gala will be directed to support planned renovations in the emergency department to expand space for infusion and hydration treatments, areas for acute mental health patients for temporary holds, and added safety and security features. Organizers thanked attendees, the many donors, and volunteers for the outpouring of support to St. Anthony Regional Hospital.
