A Jefferson woman faces multiple charges after intentionally striking a victim with a vehicle. According to the Jefferson Police Department, 45-year-old Alysha Steece was booked into the Greene County jail on Wednesday, Nov. 22, on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, a class C felony, willful injury, a class D felony, and domestic abuse assault using a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor. Authorities say officers were dispatched to the intersection of S. Maple and W. Russell Streets at approximately 11:34 a.m. after a caller reported a female was attacking a male subject by attempting to strike him with a vehicle. Law enforcement alleges Steece had struck the male victim while he was on his motorcycle, and she continued to attack him when he attempted to escape in a truck. Steece faces a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in prison and over $17,500 in fines if convicted of the charges.
