Audubon-County-Salvation-Army

The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is once again partnering with the Salvation Army for their holiday bell-ringing campaign. Sheriff’s Office deputies and staff are collaborating with local businesses to collect Salvation Army funds to help those in need throughout the county. Ninety percent of the funds raised in Audubon County will be allocated to local residents facing financial difficulties or emergencies. The Bell Ringing Campaign began on Nov. 25 in front of Audubon Food Land, continuing on successive Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the final bell ringing scheduled for Dec. 16. Volunteers from local businesses, groups, and community members are donating their time to ring the bell on these Saturdays. Slots for volunteering during the Bell Ringing Campaign are still available on Dec. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. and Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interested individuals can contact the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-563-2631, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to sign up.
