The Fred F. and Norman J. Bruning Breda American Legion Post #607’s annual gun raffle and calendar fundraiser returns for another year, just in time for a last-minute gift idea. For nearly a decade, the organization has sold the $40 calendars to raise money for the veteran group. Legion member Bob Fasbender says they are great presents for those hard-to-buy-for family and friends.

Each calendar includes one entry for each of the 25 prizes to be raffled. Fasbender says winners will be drawn during the Breda Legion’s annual game feed on Feb. 17.

Fasbender says all the money they raise goes back to directly support the Breda American Legion’s operational expenses and programs.

As of the beginning of this week, only around 600 calendars were still available, and they sell out almost every year, so act quickly.
