All Strings Attached To Perform Christmas Concert This Weekend

All Strings Attached presents their 2023 Christmas Concert, “Under the Magical Spell of Christmas,” this weekend. The orchestra will perform at the Carroll Rec Center theater tomorrow (Saturday) at 4 p.m. and again for two shows on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Orchestrator and Conductor Rebecca Windschitl says the musicians have been hard at work and are ready to spread the Christmas cheer through the magic of music, which was only a part of the inspiration for the theme for this year’s concert.

“Under The Magical Spell of Christmas” showcases traditional Christmas songs such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Silent Night,” along with incorporating themes from The Nutcracker and The Polar Express. Windschitl says while this was a big undertaking, the music from the Nutcracker and the Polar Express fit perfectly into the theme and had to be included in the music selection.

Windschitl encourages the entire family to come out to see the 135-member orchestra, as there are members of all ages and experience levels.

To enjoy “Under the Magical Spell of Christmas,” tickets are available at The Market on 30 or at the door right before the event. Tickets are priced at $12 for one or two for $20. Showings are at the Carroll Rec Center theater on Saturday at 4 p.m and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m. To see the complete list of musical arrangements that will be performed at the show, check out the program pictured below.
