David-Schultz

Authorities in Sac County are offering a reward of $2,000 for information related to the disappearance of a missing Wall Lake man, David John Schultz. According to Sac County Sheriff Ken McClure, the Sac County Crime Stoppers reorganized, and donations to the Crime Stoppers Fund can now be made directly to Iowa State Bank branches in Sac City, Odebolt, and Lake View. The $2,000 reward is for any information that leads to law enforcement locating Schultz. The 53-year-old truck driver was reported missing on Nov. 20 while delivering a load of hogs from Eagle Grove to Sac City. His last known location was at the MM126 truck stop near Fort Dodge at 11:15 p.m. on the evening of Nov. 20. Cell phone data and Iowa Department of Transportation cameras show his semi-tractor trailer traveled west on Highway 20 to Highway 71 and stopped, which is where the truck was located on the roadway the following morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sac County Sheriff’s Office at 712-662-7127 or the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) at 712-262-1873.
